Secondly, we have some HUGE shows coming up this weekend that we really hope to see you at! If you're looking for some entertainment this Parent's Weekend on campus at GWU, please consider attending ACappellaPalooza or Octoberfest! ACappellaPalooza is our biggest event of the fall semester -- we'll be performing with all five of the other GW a cappella groups at Betts Theater in Marvin Center on Friday, October 16th. The annual event is expected to draw such huge crowds that there will actually be two shows this year: one at 9 p.m., the other at 10:30 p.m. The cost if $5 and all proceeds benefit Bokamoso Youth. Octoberfest will be on the Mount Vernon campus from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 17th. This is a low key event where you and your parents can grab some cider and snacks, carve pumpkins, and of course listen to the Sirens and other acts perform.
